United States - 24.5 million
China - 6.2 million
Japan - 3.4 million
United Kingdom - 2.8 million
France - 2.8 million
Germany - 2.7 million
Canada - 2.3 million
Australia - 2.2 million
Italy - 1.4 million
South Korea - 1.3 million
China saw the world's biggest outflow of high-net-worth individuals last year and is expected to see 15,200 leave in 2024. Similarly, the UK is expected to lose 9,500 millionaires in 2024, on top of the 16,500 millionaires it lost in the last 6 years (after Brexit)
The United Arab Emirates is set to attract the most millionaires in 2024 with 6700 are predicted in 2024.
This is an interesting reversal of wealth, since historically, the UK has drawn wealthy families from all over the world.
